FAQ

Common questions

How accurate are the glucose predictions?

They are educational estimates based on GI/GL and heuristics. Accuracy varies by individual and context. When available, compare estimates with your CGM or capillary readings.

How are glycemic scores calculated?

We combine food composition data with GI/GL references and portion sizes, then present normalized low/moderate/high indicators for simplicity.

Is Calorita a medical device?

No. Calorita is a wellness/education tool and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. Consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Who is this app for?

Anyone interested in metabolic health, including people pursuing weight management, athletes optimizing fueling, and patients receiving nutrition counseling.

Can it integrate with CGM or fitness devices?

Yes, Calorita can read data from any sensor which share in HealthKit. Check if your CGM support HealthKit. Usualy sensors send data to HealthKit with delay of 3 hours by healthy reasons. Calorita will receive them not in real time
